BOOK AND BAKE SALE on Feb 13, 10 am – 1 pm. All Sales Books 1/2 price and all Baked goods calories free as they benefit the library and celebrate Valentine’s Day. Artist Thelma Rivera will offer for sale her collection of prints; a portion of her sales will be donated to the library.
SAVE THE DATE: Barbecue on Saturday, April 10 from 10 am – 2 pm. Join us in celebration of National Library Week. This year the theme for library week is Communities Thrive @ at Your Library. We could not agree more, as libraries are the heart of any community. We are truly grateful to be celebrating our 23rd year of service to the San Juan metro area. Once again, the Caribbean Barbecue Association is donating all the meats. This year we will have more than twice the fire power, as volunteers from the CBBQA are bringing a “monster” size grill to cook on… will be fun to come and watch the cooks from CBBQA do their magic…even better to enjoy!
CELL PHONES: We are still participating in a program to recycle cell phones. Donate to us your old phone, as the library can earn money for each recycled phone.
CRISTALIA WATER: From the 72 that we started with, only 25 cases are left! 24 bottles of 16.9 oz. bottles for just $12 and all proceeds to benefit the library!!! Cristalia…the healthy way to help our library.

VENTA DE LIBROS Y BIZCOCHOS el 13 de febrero, 10 am – 1 pm. Todos los libros en venta a mitad de precio y todos las calorías de los bizcochos y galletas son gratis para beneficiar la biblioteca y celebrar el Día de San Valentín. La artista Thelma Rivera tendrá a la venta su colección de acuarelas; una porción de sus ventas se donará a la biblioteca.
RESERVA LA FECHA: Barbacoa el sábado 10 de abril de 10 am – 2 pm. Acompáñanos en la celebración de la Semana Nacional de las Bibliotecas. Este año el tema para la semana de las bibliotecas es Las Comunidades Progresan @ tu biblioteca. No podemos estar más de acuerdo, ya que las bibliotecas son el corazón de cualquier comunidad. Estamos realmente agradecidos de celebrar nuestros 23 años de servicio al area metropolitana de San Juan. Otra vez, la Caribbean Barbecue Association va a donar todas las carnes. Este año tendremos mas del doble de capacidad, ya que voluntarios de CBBQA van a traer una barbacoa “monstruosa” para cocinar … será divertido venir a ver a los cocineros de CBBQA hacer su magia… y mas aun disfrutarlo.
TELEFONOS CELULARES: Todavía estamos participando en el programa para reciclar teléfonos celulares. Dona tu teléfono, ya que la biblioteca recibe dinero por cada teléfono reciclado.
AGUA CRISTALIA: De las 72 cajas con las cuales comenzamos, solo nos quedan 25 cajas. 24 botellas de 16.9 oz. Por solo $12 y todos los recaudos benefician a la biblioteca. Cristalia.. la forma saludable de ayudar a la biblioteca.
