For the first time we will be celebrating our annual fundraiser at the Library, and we cordially invite you to participate at our First Annual Food and Wine Fest, November 11, 2011 starting at 7 pm. This new event promises to be an astounding success. With 7 restaurants confirmed, 3 wine purveyors and numerous auction items, this will be an exciting activity both indoors and outdoors. We will have tents set up on our front lawn and in the parking area with our food and wine sponsors handing out their delectables to our guests. Restaurants include Il Mulino New York, The Palm Restaurant, Grille 304, East Asian Bistro, Pinolli, Sabor de Mexico, and Casa Lola. The wines are courtesy of Plaza Cellars, V. Suarez, Mendez, and Beer by Stella Artois. Cristalia will also be there with perfect waters and coffees.
We will also have on site security. Bring your family, friends and co-workers for a fun soiree. Sponsorships are available for corporations and individuals. Once again, we invite you to say yes to supporting one of the few lending libraries in Puerto Rico. The San Juan Community Library has been serving the San Juan metropolitan areas for 24 years. We offer 26,000 lending materials in both English and Spanish,a public network of computers with free internet access and a program of classes and workshops.
