Midsummer Book and Bake Sale/Community Meeting

Join us Saturday, June 22 for a midsummer book and bake sale and storytime-–all sales books will be 50% off and all baked goods will be baked by our library volunteers and you! If your summer teen needs community service hours, here is a great opportunity. We will give three hours of community service for a home baked treat to sell that day.

Storytime: At our book and bake sale we are also having storytime at 11 am. Author Larissa Bouyett will read from her books that morning. Although we originally planned this activity for children ages 3 – 6, this is also an activity for older brothers and sisters, as well. It is always fun to hear books read by the author. Larissa was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and now lives in Florida. Come, listen, and enjoy!

Special Note for Summer Reading Contestants: Attendance at this edition of storytime will count as one title for the summer reading contest!!!!! List Laura’s book title on your tracker page.

Annual Community Meeting: Our annual community meeting will be on Thursday, June 20 at 7 pm. Copies of our annual report will be available.
