Our library is most thankful to be a part of the 70th anniversary celebration of Caribe Federal Credit Union. They have provided Puerto Rico with a great service for nearly a century! Our library is also grateful to be a part of Caribe Federal’s community outreach program. This wonderful program makes it possible for island residents to join our library. Joining our library is easy at one of Caribe Federal’s three locations (Guaynabo, Hato Rey and Ponce). During the last 3 years our library has received nearly 1,000 new family memberships thanks to Caribe Federal. Thanks to this program, San Juan Community Library members also receive the benefit of joining the Caribe Federal Credit Union.

As a part of this special 70th anniversary, our library was the recipient of book donations from Caribe Federal members. Each book has a book plate to celebrate “Dona tus libros 2021.” Caribe Federal has also donated bookmarks to mark this special community initiative. We are cataloging the books, and will have them ready for checkout ASAP.
