A Time to Read

Summer is probably the best time of the year to enjoy a great read. Summer’s gift of time is available to children, teens and adults. We are thrilled to see many families stopping by to select a wide variety of topics for their reading.

Families are also spending time reading at the library. We LOVE that!!

This summer we invite you to stop by and choose a book that is different from the subject you generally read. A walk down our aisles can lead you to a new topic and reignite your passion for reading.

Reminder: We are closed Monday, July 3 and Tuesday July 4 in observation of Independence Day.

Our summer reading contest ends Saturday, July 8, and that is the last day to bring in response sheets. We love the sheets received so far. The responses reflect that our library’s young readers are both creative and very engaged with their reading. Bravo and congratulations to our participants!!!

Please remember that we are closed for our summer break from Thursday, July 13 to Thursday July 27. We will reopen on Saturday July 29 under our regular Saturday schedule from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Happy Reading from our Library family to yours!!
